This project commenced life as a EPCMV project under an IChemE Green Book reimbursable contract. Following an escalation in costs with this original procurement route, BPP assisted Genzyme to explore cost saving options which culminated in the conversion to a traditional JCT contract whilst the sub structures enabling package was underway. BPP agreed a cost plan and managed the transfer (with the client) to the JCT traditional contract, including the transfer of design copyright to new lead designer, transfer of existing supplier and sub-contractor orders and various other contractual matters.

The project was completed successfully within the original budget.
