This biotech manufacturing plant was unusual in that the project was based around an existing part-completed 70,000 ft² facility. In common with most pharma \ biotech projects the client required a fast-track project delivery together with parallel process design. Jacobs carried out BOD and detailed design operating from their base in Cincinnati utilizing a local subsidiary office. The facility included pharmaceutical production for monoclonal antibodies and utility distribution requiring cell culture suites, support areas, tank farm and warehouse.
