The Oaks – Mixed use urban regeneration in West London

Acton Regeneration Company is proposing to regenerate and breathe new life into the Oaks Shopping Centre through the introduction of a mixed use development.

Phase 1 of the proposal represents a £40 million investment into the town centre, bringing with it a Waitrose supermarket, four new retail units along Churchfield Road and the introduction of 142 new homes, of which 22% will be affordable.

Phase 2 of the redevelopment will bring with it a further 36 residential units in a three to four storey building, a brand new entrance into the Mall from the High Street, further improvements to the retail offer within the Mall.

At pre planning BPP worked with appointed Housing and Planning Consultants in the successful submission and agreement of the Project viability toolkit with the LA appointed consultants leading to c 80% PfS tenure.
